What should I do if iCloud isn't working?
If iCloud syncing isn’t working, make sure you have a working internet connection, and you may need to give iCloud some time to sync. If you’re still having problems, try the suggestions below.
Make sure iOS is up to date
We recommend using the latest version of iOS, but make sure you have at least iOS 10 or later. You can check for iOS updates by opening the Settings app, tapping General, then Software Update.
Make sure Deliveries is up to date
Some older versions of Deliveries won’t be able to sync with newer versions, so make sure you have the latest version on all your devices. You’ll need Deliveries 6.2 or later for iOS or Deliveries 1.2 or later for Mac to keep everything in sync. You can check for updates by opening the App Store app, then tapping on the Updates tab.
Make sure iCloud is enabled
These instructions are for iOS 14, but the steps are very similar on other versions of iOS.
- Open the Settings app
- Select your name at the top
- Make sure you’re signed in using the same Apple ID you use for iCloud on your other devices
- Tap “iCloud”
- Scroll down to the “iCloud Drive” switch, and make sure it’s on
- Scroll down to the “Deliveries” switch, and make sure it’s on
- Return to the Deliveries app, and tap the icon
- Tap “Sync”
- Make sure the “iCloud” switch is on
You may also want to check that iCloud Drive is enabled over cellular data. Open the Settings app and select “Cellular Data”. Scroll down to the bottom and make sure the “iCloud Drive” switch is on.
If you’re still having problems, try restarting your device.
Reset iCloud data
If nothing else is working, you can reset the app’s iCloud data. This will delete all of your synced data from iCloud. Deliveries saved on your devices will be re-synced the next time you open the app. To get started, open this page on the device that has the most up to date copy of your deliveries, and press the button below.
