Navigation Blindness

Navigation Blindness by Henrik Olsen is an interesting article on how most users ignore web site navigation tools, and what to do about it. It’s quite an eye-opener, dismissing practices that many designers consider very important, with studies to back it up. I’m really not sure I agree with all of it, but it’s a great read nonetheless. Why Primary Navigation Must Die talks about similar ideas.
