Two new sites: Geek Week and The Oh in Ohio

I’ve recently finished up two new sites I’m pretty excited about. First up is Geek Week, a notably-less-than-weekly video podcast about comics, games, cosplay, toys, and other geek stuff. These guys are awesome and their show is hilarious. Seriously. If you don’t laugh at this, you’re probably a terrible person. Or, uh… you’re just not a geek, I guess.

Geek Week is running on Tense Log, which makes it approximately four zillion times easier to update than it was previously. Believe me, I know. They made me do it once. Props also to Comic Life on this one for making nice word balloons and comic book text much nicer than I could be bothered to make on my own.

The Oh in Ohio is a new movie starring Parker Posey, Paul Rudd, Mischa Barton, and Danny DeVito. It just opened last weekend in select theatres, with more coming through the month of August. I’ll be heading out to see it myself at the Main Art Theatre in Royal Oak in a couple of weeks when it opens there.

I designed this site for Cyan Pictures, a good bunch of folks that have been putting out some great movies. The site went live right around when Superman Returns started showing, and I have to say it was odd and satisfying to see Ms. Posey on the big screen, and then come home to work on a site for one of her other films.

It was a lot of fun working on both of these sites, and I’m honored they gave me the opportunity. Cheers!

Oh! This is one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a long time.

Two vibrators up!
