January 22, 2006. I ordered a new Mac the other day. Pretty much my dream computer: an iMac Intel Core Duo, with dual 2.0GHz processors, a 20” display, a 500GB hard drive, 2GB RAM, and 256MB VRAM. September 11, 2005. In response to my Bluetooth Switch widget, I had someone ask me if it would be possible to make a similar widget for the firewall. After realizing the code would be nearly identical to the Bluetooth widget, I decided to go ahead and make one. September 11, 2005. Firefox is a pretty great browser, especially in the Windows world. Its support for extensions and themes make it the most customizable browser available, an area where I’d love to see others step up to the plate. But in the Mac world, Firefox has a lot of problems. August 29, 2005. Junk mail filters have become a standard feature for email applications. RSS readers are a bit different—you have complete control over the feeds you subscribe to, so it seems logical that there’s just no need to filter the data. But I’m not convinced. August 4, 2005. I’ve added my first (publicly available) widget to the Mac Goodies section. The gorgeous icon used for the widget was created by RimshotDesign.
