March 3, 2005. Bookmarklets (sometimes called Favelets) are just snippets of JavaScript that are stored in a bookmark. Click the bookmark and it runs a script, which can do a number of useful things. March 1, 2005. I often find myself wondering how my sites will work on dial-up connections, and I’ve long been looking for a good way to simulate it in OS X. I recently came across the ip_relay Perl script by Gavin Stewart. It isn’t quite perfect; it seems to have problems with larger files in particular. February 9, 2005. Far too often I see a site do something that just doesn’t make sense. Here are just a few of these blunders.
