Delivery Status beta: Adobe store, Canada Post, and Growl notifications!
Delivery Status 3.1 is nearly complete, and it adds some great features! First up is Growl support. A lot of people have asked if they could get a pop-up message, a beep, or an email when their delivery status changes. Growl allows you to choose from any of these things and more. You’ll need to download and install Growl to use this feature.
Next up is support for the Adobe online store (in the US and Canada only). Perfect if you’re among the many anxiously awaiting your CS3 pre-order! The widget will count down the days to your estimated shipping date, and if Adobe updates the estimate you’ll know right away.
Finally, for our friends to the north, I’ve added support for Canada Post.
This is a beta release, and may have some bugs. Please help squash them by letting me know how it works for you! If you have an Adobe store order, please verify that everything is displayed correctly. If you have multiple packages, do they show up as numbered items that you can click through (by clicking the item name)? Do the dates show up correctly for each package? If a package has a tracking number listed (click the Adobe logo to check) do the tracking dates show up in the widget? If you’re using Growl, do the notifications display as expected?
