Delivery Status 3.0 - now with detailed tracking info!
The most-requested feature is here: Delivery Status now displays detailed tracking information right in the widget. If your package is out for delivery, arrived in Kentucky, or held up in Alaska, you’ll know it all right away.
I’ve also added support for Nintendo store orders, something you might find useful this holiday season, especially if you’ve got a Wii or an extra Nunchuk on the way. You can also double-click the resize handle to toggle between the compact and normal size now. There are a couple of bug fixes as well.
If you find my work useful, please consider a small donation. Your help goes a long way!

I hadn’t tried the compact size before. It’s not too useful to me, because I love the detailed tracking info. However, I notice that if I’ve enlarged the normal view from the default size, then double-click the thumb to switch to compact, then switch back to normal, the widget doesn’t remember the larger size I previously used. Instead, it only returns to the default width.

Correct, that was how it was designed to work. Personally I like it that way—I like to keep my widgets lined up neatly, and this makes it easy to get back to the default size. Of course I may end up changing it depending on the feedback I get.

Hi Mike!
Thanks for this great give-away.
Is there a way to keep track of MORE THAN ONE order, from (perhaps) more than one vendor? I can’t seem to find how to do that.
Best,
Dmitri

Dmitri, just open another copy of the widget to track multiple orders!

Great widget! I have the following problem: When tracking amazon.de orders, the status never changes beyond the "shipping soon" (I don’t know the exact English equivalent, it says "baldiger Versand" for me) status even when the order is shipped. Refreshing or entering the order information again doesn’t work.

Just starting using it. Great little widget, perfect for holiday shopping.
At first, I had a little trouble using it for Amazon. I didn’t realize that it is mandatory that you also enter an email address, which results in the widget asking for your Amazon password.
It works fine, just isn’t obvious at first, so I’m posting this in case others make the same mistake.
By the way, is this info encrypted?

This is the best widget I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. Unfortunately, I am a sofware engineer that does test and release engineering, and seem to be a magnet for wierd corner cases, one of which struck me almost immediately using Order Status- Fedex tracking numbers are (surprisingly!) not a unique ID and there can be several shipments with the same tracking number that cause Fedex to return an additional request for disambiguation, which seems to confuse Order Status.
This also seems to affect the Apple Shipment Status.
You can reproduce this problem by using Fedex tracking number 705564294325, or Apple order number W26463507 (zip code 94063).
Hope that helps; and thanks again for a fantastic widget!

Hi, great widget. I really love it. I am unsure how to open multiple copies of it though to track several packages. Any help is appreciated.

Good product!
It would be nice to track Purolator parcel.

Thanks! I can’t say when I’ll be able to get to it, but Purolator is relatively high on the to do list.
