Q Tonic Water is an all-natural, quality tonic water created by Jordan Silbert. The site uses a simple, classy style to reflect the qualities of the drink. Large photographs set the mood for each page and help tell the story of the product.
Andy Wagner
This site was designed to promote Andy’s new album Departures. Illustrator Holly Tickner drew the illustration for the site. The entire site was created with my Tense Code content management system. This allows the shows and reviews sections to update automatically from a central Tense Forms database, and Andy can update the journal on his own, without knowledge of HTML.
We Go Way Back Movie Poster
This charming film about about an actress confronting her younger self “explores the comedy and pain of finding the courage to face up to yourself.” The poster blends two photographs supplied by the studio, overlaid with simple typography.
Ever Since the World Ended Movie Poster
This poster is for a documentary-style film about the end of the world, and how it affects the last few people living in San Francisco. The still from the film was provided by the studio, which was adjusted for dramatic effect and then layered over with my own photos of worn, stained cement flooring. The weathered type effect was created by hand using Xerox transfer.
The Oh in Ohio
The Oh in Ohio is a comedy about a woman who’s never had an orgasm, starring Parker Posey, Paul Rudd, Mischa Barton, and Danny DeVito. I designed this site for Cyan Pictures, an independent film company based in New York and San Francisco.
Geek Week
Geek Week is a site focusing on comics, games, cosplay, toys, and other geek stuff. The entire site, including its podcast feed and blogs, run on Tense Code. Using Tense Code made it easy for them to update the site themselves, which allowed them to update the site more often and bring more traffic to the site. I also drew the illustrations used in the site layout.
