Delivery Status touch 3.1 notes

The wallpaper image in the background is by Bryan Lee O’Malley. Delivery Status touch 3.1 is now available, along with Delivery Status 5.1 for Mac. This post was originally supposed to be a preview, but App Store approvals happen so fast these days that I didn’t have the time to finish writing it up in advance. Indie+Relief

On January 20th, 2010, many indie Mac and iPhone developers donated 100% of their proceeds to Haiti relief. Together we raised over $143,872. Junecloud raised $451 in Delivery Status touch sales, and we contributed some of our own to make a donation of $800 to the American Red Cross. Thank you to everyone who contributed. ColiPoste and China EMS in Delivery Status

ColiPoste (La Poste) and China EMS have been two of the most popular requests for Delivery Status. We would love to add them, but unfortunately it is not possible. Both tracking sites are designed in a way that does not allow it. ColiPoste displays the tracking results as images, so there’s no way for Delivery Status to read the text. China EMS uses a CAPTCHA, or verification code, so the only way to get the status is to visit the site yourself and enter the code. It won’t be as nice, but… Read more »

Junecloud maintenance (completed)

We’re tentatively planning to move Junecloud to a new, more reliable server around 1AM EST tonight. If all goes as planned the change will be transparent, but it is possible you may notice some downtime, particularly for Delivery Status syncing.
