This Automator action will change the file extension of the selected files. Very useful if you need to change a bunch of files from .html to .php, for example. Works great as a Finder plugin, so you can access it with a single click!
Please note: This action will not convert the format of the files, it will only change the extension. If you change a file to an incorrect type you may not be able to open it until you change the extension back. This action is only useful in specific situations, and it’s not recommended unless you’re certain what you’re doing will work.
