Automator Actions Updated
I’ve just updated my Automator Actions for web developers. Make Names Web-Friendly 2.1 adds a few new options for dealing with special characters. Change Extensions 2.1 has a much clearer interface, making it easier to use, and its reliability in certain situations has been improved.
Save as JPEG has gotten a major overhaul, and is now named Save for Web 2.0. There are now three image type options: JPEG, GIF, and PNG. You can now choose manually between Photoshop, for better quality images, and Preview, for faster saving that won’t open an app at all. You can now set a maximum size for your images as well, and there’s an option to sharpen them a little bit after resizing them.
Stop by my Mac Goodies section to download them!

Awesome! I’m a multimedia designer, Flash/Motion Graphics/Print/Music & Audio, and was about to start loading mp3’s into an XML file, but had to cleeean up the filename’s, this is the magic spice I was looking for!!! This is an awesome tool. I didn’t see any donation area, and would suggest you throw one up for the freeware. Thanks MIKE!
